Introduction:
My name is Tara Moran (Mona - married August 2013) and I currently teach Physics & AP Environmental at CVHS. Along with teaching, I have had the pleasure of being the assistant coach for freshman girls basketball at the Valley for 4 years and plan on at least 30 more. In 2013, I become the Head Coach of the Junior Varsity girls basketball team. Words cannot describe how excited I was to realize that this was the start of my coaching career at CVHS.
In the 2014-2015 school year, I took upon the challenge of becoming the Sophomore Class Advisor and my career at CVHS became more complete. As the advisor, we set up events that not only made the Chippewa Valley experience complete for many students, but we also assisted our local community with food drives and donations.
At the end of the summer of 2012, I completed my masters program in Special Education at Saginaw Valley University. I have a lifetime experience in teaching beginning as a child playing "school" with my siblings to my current position at Chippewa Valley High School. I have had the great opportunity to teach Human Anatomy & Physiology, General Biology, AP Biology, Chemistry, Physical Science, Physics, Environmental Science, AP Environmental Science and Nature Studies with the guidance of many knowledgeable teachers.
I am a very energetic, enthusiastic and passionate teacher. I truly believe people should do what they do best, and teaching is what I do best! I find teaching an extremely challenging and rewarding career!! I plan on excelling and being a life-long learner as I grow with my students and gain more experiences every day.
